Nikki Beach EMEA Hotels and Resorts Limited (“Nikki Beach”), announces the signing of a management agreement with Dolphin Capital Investors, the leading residential resort developer in South East Mediterranean. Through this partnership Nikki Beach, one of the world’s most recognizable lifestyle and entertainment brands, will operate a five-star luxury resort within ‘Venus Rock Golf Resort’ in Paphos, Cyprus.
Expected to open in mid 2012, the Nikki Beach Resort and Spa will provide 80 sea view rooms and suites, a Nikki Beach Club and pool bar, spa and fitness facilities, an Ultra VIP Lounge/Club, and signature restaurants. PROVDENCIALES, Turks & Caicos Islands – November 17, 2008 – The Turks & Caicos played host to a unique movie premier event last week that rivaled the best that Hollywood could offer as several local businesses created a glitzy fund raiser around the opening of the new James Bond thriller, Quantum of Solace. Hosted by Jai’s, LRaye Cinema and Nikki Beach, with support from the Wine Cellar and Executive Tours, the event drew more than two hundred generous patrons who helped to raise more than $10,000 for the Rotary Club of Providenciales Hurricane Relief Fund.
The evening began with a glamorous red carpet reception at Jai’s showcase store in the Regent Village, where finely attired guests sipped signature Bond cocktails and browsed the special collection Omega and Swatch watches that debuted specially for the movie. The highlight of the evening was the raffle of a special 007 edition Omega watch that is featured in the new movie. Guests also had a chance to bid on VIP upgrade packages that included a Nikki Beach limousine ride to the theatre and a chance to sit in the exclusive sky box at the cinema.
From Jai’s the guests were whisked off the LRaye Cinema for the special advanced viewing of the latest 007 action adventures. The movie, which opened in North American theatres a day later, thrilled the packed theatre of Bond fans.
The evening ended at Nikki Beach where the crowd danced and socialized to the wee hours at the resort’s famous high-energy beachside bar. Several celebrities mingled with the crowd and the festivities were filmed by The Travel Channel who was on site to film Nikki Beach as one of Bridgette’s Sexiest Beaches. The host, Bridgette Marquadt, flirted with the attendees as she filmed scenes of dancing on the signature Nikki Beach Beds and drinking the famous Nikki Mojito.
“It was a fantastic evening all in the name of an important cause. The cooperation and effort among all the businesses involved and the generosity of everyone who turned out for the event showcased the great community spirit that exists here in Turks & Caicos, particularly when there is a real need,” said John Lawson, president of the Rotary Club of Providenciales. “On behalf of our club, I can’t thank everyone enough and can commit that the funds raised will be put to good use in helping rebuild the affected areas of our country.”
The Rotary Club established a Hurricane Relief Fund following the strikes by Hurricanes Hannah and Ike in September. The Club is raising funds and organizing relief and rebuild programs, working in conjunction with other charitable organizations and relief efforts.

DETAILS The ultra-trendy Nikki Beach club opened in South Beach in the late ’90s and soon spread with its jet-setting clientele to St.-Tropez, St. Barts, Marrakech and other hot spots around the globe. Now the brand is branching out to resorts and residential projects, the first being this recently opened development on the northeast side of Providenciales. It consists of a beachfront building with 50 studio to three-bedroom condominium-hotel units, which have all been sold, an infinity pool, restaurants and, of course, a Nikki Beach club complete with a late-night lounge. In the next couple of months a 110-slip marina is planned to open, and this August construction of the development’s second phase, with 113 condo-hotel units, a casino, a spa and a fitness center, is scheduled to begin. The project is part of a 423-acre development that also includes plans for single-family homes, homesites and a second, smaller marina; another project by the developer, an artificial island off the site and not associated with the Nikki resort, has faced strong opposition from locals and environmental groups. The Providenciales airport is a short drive away.
