Further Facts About The Pearl-Qatar

The Pearl-Qatar is a smart investment that adds to the economic strength of the country with its offerings of full residency rights, freehold ownership, tailored payment schemes and a tax-free haven.
The Pearl-Qatar is being developed and promoted by United Development Company (UDC), one of Qatar’s leading private sector shareholding companies.

Porto Arabia is destined to be the premier destination in the Qatar region for luxury living. As the first phase of a 4.25 million square meter island development, this exclusive resort is certain to capture the hearts and imaginations of future residents and guests the world over with its charming mix of European fashion and Arabic culture, refined living and active lifestyle, quiet relaxation and rousing nightlife.

A ring-shaped island with beautiful landscapes reminiscent of lush European gardens, the Porto Arabia features 21 luxury condominium towers, each comprised of approximately 160 one-to four-bedroom units on 18 storeys, crowned by four elite two-storey penthouse units with breathtaking views. Towers feature covered resident and guest parking, doorman and concierge service within the five-star-hotel style lobby, and a private amenities level with spa-like fitness centers, banquet facilities, and a children’s playroom.

Evoking the architectural styles of Mediterranean Europe as viewed through a uniquely Arabic lens, the towers connect to the inner ring of a bustling retail district via secluded garden courtyards, complete with water features, pools, jetted spas, and trellised pavilions. The multi-level townhomes, numbering nearly 20 per parcel, bridge between the landscaped tower gardens and the retail promenade along the waterfront, where private boats can moor in one of more than 400 slips.

The heart of the 425-hectare Porto Arabia is its unique shopping and dining districts, interspersed with smaller retail neighborhoods, which form a graceful promenade around the island. Nearly 60,000 square meters of retail, restaurant, and entertainment space cater for shopping and dining, relaxing and playing with friends and family. Each district recalls an air of traditional Mediterranean port cities: a seaside town at the nautical Chandlery, complete with working lighthouse; the grandeur of a coastal hill town at the couture-centric Luxe Life; a modern-day souk at the Marketplace; the bustle of a graceful galleria in High Fashion; and the public playground and shoreline gardens in Nightlife, with its outdoor amphitheater and floating stage.

Future development includes a six-star hotel on its own island, a pearl in the center of the Porto Arabia, as well as private clubs for residents and guests of the Pearl.
